  • Established in 1984, Santak Corporation introduced locally manufactured uninterruptible power systems (UPS) into the Chinese market in 1987
  • In 1992 Santak merged with Taiwan-based Phoenixtec Power Company and Santak (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was established
  • In 2007 "SANTAK" was identified as a "Chinese Well-known Mark" and a "Guangdong Famous Brand", solidifying its place as the #1 UPS manufacturer in the Chinese market
  • Eaton Corporation acquired Phoenixtec in 2008, bolstering its global presence in Asian markets and providing increased global infrastructure for engineering, manufacturing and service of UPS.
