Functional Safety

Eaton has a wide offering of products that meet international safety standards, such as EN ISO 13849-1 (EN 954-1) up to category 4/PL e, EN IEC 62061 up to SIL CL 3 and EN IEC 61508 up to SIL 3.

The Eaton M22 e stops, XT IEC contactors and LS interlock and limit switches can all be used in up to Cat 4/PL e/SIL 3 safety circuits. Eaton also provides control options for safety functions, including e stops, guard door monitoring (locking and non-locking), light curtain (OSSD), zero and over-speed monitoring and two-hand control.
