Remote Racking and Control
Remote racking devices permit the insertion and removal of electrical devices while the operator is outside the flash protection boundary. Electrically operated devices, such as motor control and switchgear, can be opened and closed from a remote location, removing the operator outside the arc flash protection boundary.
Operator Interface (HMI)
Electronic operator interface panels communicate with electrically operated devices such as switchgear and motor control and permit the operator to send remote open and close commands while safely outside the arc flash protection boundary.
Ampgard remote operator (ARO)
The ARO enables workers to open and close the motor starter's isolation switch through the use of a pendant pushbutton station operated up to 30 feet away.
Magnum DS switchgear remote operator: MRR1000
The MRR1000 permits the operator to remotely open, close and rack-in or rack-out a Eaton Magnum DS circuit breaker from up to 25 feet away.
FlashGard RotoTract remote racking operator
The RotoTract remote operator allows the user to rack the Flashgard's retractable stabs in to the connected or out to the withdrawn position from up to 15 feet away.
RPR-2
The RPR-2 provides a means of remotely racking most power breakers that utilize the rotation of a shaft for insertion and removal.
Power Xpert Software and Gateways
Power Xpert software and gateways connect to electrically operated devices, such as switchgear and motor control, and allows control commands to be transmitted that remotely open and close these devices while the user remains outside of the arc flash protection boundary.

Protective Relays
Protective relays make local decisions to open circuits to maintain safe operation, all without operator intervention. Zone selective interlocking and Arc Flash Reduction Maintenance settings increase personnel safety when equipment must be maintained while energized.
Motor Operated MV Fused Switchgear
Motor operators permit remote opening and closing of MV fused switchgear.
Electrically Operated Equipment
Stored energy circuit breakers, such as Eaton’s VCP-W, VCP-T, Magnum DS and NRX, and equipment that can be provided with motor or solenoid operators, such as molded case breakers and motor control, can be opened and closed remotely, removing the operator from the vicinity of the equipment.
MV Switchgear Integrated Remote Racking
Available in 5 to 38 kVA Eaton metal-clad switchgear, this solution allows remote racking to the disconnected, test or connected position using either a pendant station or via the switchgear communications network.
