Industrial Water
Eaton delivers innovative technologies that reduce the demand for disposable media, reduce disposal and effluent costs, and reduce employee exposure to hazardous situations. From tubular backwashing and mechanically cleaned filters to bag and cartridge filtration systems, Eaton filtration systems remove debris from 0.03 microns and up, absolute.

Bearing Cooling
Sand or grit can easily score a bearing and shaft and lead to thousands of dollars in repair and downtime. Adding a solids filter to cooling water systems is a great way to discover inefficiencies and hidden costs.
Clarified White Water
The role of filters in water systems has always been important. Whether fresh water (intake) or "used" water (mill water, white water), the goal is to remove the oversized suspended solids to maximize productivity, protect equipment, and preserve product quality.
Cooling Tower
Cascading water constantly collects airborne contaminants and carries them into the cooling system. Suspended solids cause reduced heat transfer efficiency, shortened equipment life, and increased pumping costs.
Gland Seal
Recirculating seal water can pick up debris from lines and tanks even though it is prevented from contacting the fluid being pumped. These contaminants can be as abrasive as those in the pumpage, damaging the seal and the pumps.
Heat Exchanger
Corrosion control and deposit formation control are the goals for filtration of heat exchanger water. Fouling problems can be reduced with chemicals but not eliminated without filtration of suspended solids.
Lake Water
The quality of water from wells, lakes, rivers, streams or the local water utility varies significantly by source and over time. Lake waters offer changing sediment levels. At the same time, the flow of intake water must generally be kept at high levels.
Mechanical Seal Water
Recirculating seal water can pick up debris from lines and tanks even though it is prevented from contacting the fluid being pumped. These contaminants can be as abrasive as those in the pumpage, damaging the seal and the pumps.
Membrane System Protection
To reduce fresh water usage and control waste water treatment costs, many mills are beginning to examine membrane systems to remove color, TOCL and TDS from effluents for reuse or further processing.
Municipal Water
Eaton is committed to providing technical, application, and product expertise that not only enhances municipal water treatment systems, but also minimizes the impact to municipalities financial and energy resources.
Recycled Fresh Water
The concentration of solids in recycled water tends to build and reach an equilibrium as materials are used and replenished. Automatic strainers for protection of pumps and injection wells in aquifer recharging applications are recommended.
River Water
Debris content in river or lake water is affected by spring runoff or turbulence caused by storms. Well waters offer changing sediment levels. At the same time, the flow of intake water must generally be kept at high levels.
Well Water
Well waters offer changing sediment levels. The quality of water from wells, lakes, rivers, streams or the local water utility varies significantly by source and over time.
