New generation of high performing braided hoses qualified for 1 million impulse cycle

Aeroquip® Machmate EC681_c

Eaton Aeroquip® new generation of hydraulic one and two wirebraided hoses are designed to offer significantly longer life, higher resistance to abrasion, higher temperature and higher pressure resistance than the standard. Lowering maintenance cost, combined with increasing the variety of applications, these hoses can be used to decrease design and usage complexity.

Common applications include: Compact construction equipment, Agricultural equipment Arial lift equipment, Other industrial applications in need of 1 SC pressures, Marine, on and offshore sites.





Aeroquip® Machmate GH681, one wire braided hose and Aeroquip® Dynamax EC881 two wire braided hose:

Qualified for 1 million impulse cycle

  • Standard EN857 Type 1SC hoses are only qualified to 200,000 cycles.
  • Exceeding the standard by 5X, this hose was designed to last and withstand the toughest applications, offering lower maintenance costs and higher safety.


8 times enhanced abrasion resistance to reduce maintenance cost.

  • Eaton`s Dura-Tuff cover provides up to 8 times more abrasion resistance than an average standard synthetic hose cover.


Higher operating temperature of +126°C (260°F) and higher pressure resistance than standard one wire braided hose

  • Allows for use in a broader range of hydraulic systems decreasing design and usage complexity.



Aeroquip® Dynamax EC881, a new high performing two wire braided hose also offers above and beyond any regular hose:


Combined with up to 35% higher pressure ratings than standard hoses, fitting better to the high pressure applications.

  • Standard EN857 Type 2SC size 8 hoses are only qualified to 275 bars while EC 881 is to 360 bars.
  • Allows for use in a broader range of hydraulic systems where spiral hoses may have been required in the past, resulting in cost saving in build.
  • This helps to decrease weight of their machines and improve routing.


With over 50 % better bending radius than standard, for use in tight spaces

  • Standard EN857 Type2SC size 8 hoses are only qualified to 130mm while EC 881 is to 60mm, resulting in better design flexibility and potentially lower cost in build.



Product Features

Aeroquip® Machmate GH681 offers distinct advantages beside the 1 million impulse cycle qualification in three key areas, as part of our Eaton Triple Crown Advantage products. Combining +25% higher pressure and +25% temperature resistance with 8x better abrasion resistance this hose is designed for increasing life in applications. Combination of GH681 and Eaton Global TTC fittings provides safety in application, increased lifetime of the assembly and advanced product warranty.

 

Aeroquip® Dynamax EC881 is a next generation hose utilizing new generation inner tube and “hybrid plies” reinforcement providing highest pressure (similar to a spiral hose for sizes -8 and -10 ) and lowest bending radius performance.As a result EC881 provides exceptional flexibility ( 1/3 SAE bending radius), under high pressure
 

  • The new generation inner tube provides several key performance highlights such as high heat resistance to both air and oil as well as low compression set, resulting even better leakage performance.
  • “Hybrid plies” reinforcement also provides high fatigue resistance therefore longer product life.
  • Combination of EC881 and Eaton Global TTC fittings provides safety in application, increased lifetime of the assembly and advanced product warranty.
