Electronics Lab
The Electronics Lab has the critical capabilities to position Eaton as a leader in the development and testing of electrohydraulic components and systems that combine the power density of hydraulics with the controllability of electronics.
As customers move toward it for higher speeds, quieter operation, and more precise control, electrohydraulics is becoming the choice more and more for motion-control systems. The Electronics Lab works to verify Eaton electrohydraulic product developments through such capabilities as:
- Fully equipped electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing for product development and pre-certification testing, including:
- Radiated and conducted susceptibility and emission testing
- Transient and electrostatic discharge testing
- Multiple chambers for thermal and humidity cycle testing
- P65, IP67, and IP69 testing
- Vibration and shock testing
- Prototype, printed circuit-board development and assembly
- Bench and machine development and testing of embedded electronics, digital communications, embedded software, and electrohydraulic component and system designs
- Data acquisition capabilities
