Performance Markets

Eaton’s Aeroquip® Performance Products can be found on a variety of vehicles in the Performance market. Any vehicle that has the following applications is a potential user for our products:

  • Fuel, lube, coolant, and air conveyance
  • Vehicle air conditioning lines
  • Power steering and hydraulic lines
  • Brake lines (Off highway use only)
  • Transmission, clutch, and N20 lines

Our products are designed to provide the superior flow, appearance, weight advantage, and flexibility required in their respective markets.
Below is a more detailed description of the specific markets that our products can be found in.
 
Circle / Oval Track:
The most famous name of all circle track racing is NASCAR®. However, the circle track market involves many governing bodies of racing: Nationwide Series, Sprint Car and the Nextel Cup. This market includes any race car, truck or vehicle that competes by performing laps on a dirt or paved track.

Performance Marine:
This market includes personal water crafts, hydroplane racing, off shore performance, cruisers, and original equipment manufacturers.

Specialist / Enthusiast:
This market includes autocross, import and sports compact. Autocross is a timed competition where drivers navigate one-at-a-time through a temporary course marked by traffic cones; rather than racing on a track with multiple other cars as found in circle track racing.

Drag Racing:
A drag race pits two vehicles against each other over a straight, measured distance from a standing start. A standard drag racing event involves several classes, each competing in their own single-elimination tournament of head-to-head races. There are many different organizations within the drag racing market, including IHRA, NHRA® and Sportsman.

Street Rod / Muscle:
These are the fast cars with large engines that show up at car shows through the country. Many of these cars are built for speed and show. Because of the aesthetically pleasing appearance and superior quality our products have we are a very popular choice in this market.
