Airflex CTE drum style brakes are spring-applied, air released and develop greater torque than the Type CS. Their design and construction are ideal for moderate speed, high torque, cyclic applications. The brake is bi-directional, developing approximately the same torque in either direction of drum rotation.

  • Typical Applications: Conveyors, drag lines, hoists, power shovels, stamping presses
