Draft Tube Gates and Inlet Gates
Eaton hydraulic systems provide the force that opens and closes draft tube and inlet gates in a hydropower installation and allows turbines to be isolated for shutdown purposes. Eaton cylinders, hydraulic power units, valve manifolds, and electrical controls provide a complete system package. Eaton’s Hypos cylinder position sensor provides a precise measurement system integrated into the cylinder. Cylinders also benefit from Eaton’s robust Application-Based Coating that provides an added layer of anti-corrosion and anti-wear protection in harsh environments.
