Automatic Tab Updater
An exciting new feature on the Consulting Application Guide and Product Spec Guide is the option to install the Eaton Automatic Tab Updater (ATU). The ATU is a comprehensive expandable desktop library that automatically notifies and enables you to update your files. Download this program to better manage “CAG” and “PSG” PDF files loaded on your computer. The ATU will look for catalog tabs that have changed on the Eaton web site and automatically notifies you when updates are available. No more searching through thick catalogs and indexes and comparing online electronic files with hard copies. Let the ATU do the work for you.

Clean Power Drives
The harmful effects of harmonics are often brought into the discussion concerning rising costs in the electrical system. Harmonics are distorted electrical waveforms that introduce inefficiencies into an electrical system. They produce wasteful heat and cannot be converted into useful energy. Harmonics flow into the electrical system as a result of nonlinear electronic switching devices, such as adjustable frequency drives (AFDs), computer power supplies and energy efficient lighting. Eaton recognizes these concerns and has created a marketing piece to help you and your customers better understand the different solutions to harmonics offered on the market. The brochure reviews the issues at hand, including what harmonics are, who is concerned and why.
Dry-Type Distribution Transformer
The Dry-Type Distribution Transformer product line is in the final stages of consolidating three-phase 15 kVA and 30 kVA ventilated transformers into the same enclosure as the 45 kVA design. This change will be implemented on units manufactured starting February 4, 2008. More information.
