Description: This one and a half day, introductory course begins with basic principles of electricity, and then progresses to the generation and distribution of power. In addition to Eaton products, the attendees will be introduced to common electrical terms and symbols. As a result of the session, the learner will gain an understanding of many applications for Eaton’s electrical products. Hands-on exercises are used to affirm the student's understanding of concepts and products regardless of current experience level.

Course Objectives: At the completion of this course, the learner will have gained new perspective on the wide scope of Eaton's electrical product offering. There will be a clear understanding of how power is generated, distributed, and controlled with a focus on Eaton’s PowerChain. The learner will have a basic understanding of Eaton’s products, and be able to articulate this knowledge to others.

Course Time: Day 1 is 8:00AM - 5:00PM Day 2 is 8:00AM - 12:00PM.
Course includes course materials, continental breakfast, and lunch on day 1, breakfast only on day 2. Airfare, lodging and ground transportation are not included. You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements. Do not make travel arrangements until you receive a confirmation from Eaton University. A penalty fee will be charged for late cancellation and no-shows. Proper "business casual" apparel is necessary.
