Description: The three day AFD Commissioner Training Course leads the student through basic motor theory and AFD operation, selecting the correct AFD for the application, inspection of AFD installation and commissioning and tuning of the AFD. The course consists of short lectures, programming exercises and hands-on operation of AFDs. Upon completion of the course, the student will be certified as an Eaton Certified Commissioner and presented with a registration number and certificate.

Course Objectives: - Understand Eaton AFD Product Offerings - Product Selection for Applications - Motor and AFD Components and Functionality - Installation Evaluation - Start-up Wizard Familiarization - Programming and Setting Parameters - Fault Code Identification and Troubleshooting

Targeted Audience:The AFD Commissioners Course is targeted to facility technicians, engineers and electricians with a basic knowledge of variable frequency drives, motors and electronics.
