Description: This 2-day course is designed to certify local contractors for installation, startup and servicing of Eaton’s Cutler Hammer brand of standby generators. The contractor will receive in-depth training and hands-on work with our standby generators. The training facility has the generators installed and running for real-life troubleshooting and learning. After attending this class the contractor will be listed on Eaton's website at www.residentialgenerators.eaton.com.

Objectives:
• Certify contractors to provide installation, start-up, and advanced service on generators through 45kw.
• Provide hands-on training, troubleshooting and servicing of working air-cooled generators.
• Provide opportunity for tear-down and a deep dive of the generator systems including their associated transfer switches.
• Show the contractors how to perform load bank testing and how to effectively and efficiently determine the root cause of generator issues.

It is recommended that you have at least 3 Years of Home Standby Power Installation Experience and/or completed the Tier II Air Cooled Generator Installer Service Certification Course
