Introducing the Series NRX Low Voltage Power Circuit Breaker - A major breakthrough of minor proportions! When building space is at a premium, or when system upgrading requires additional functionality, Series NRX is the solution. Featuring high interrupting and short-time withstand, a small size, reduced weight, broad trip-unit capabilities, and an ergonomic handle design tested to 20,000 mechanical operations and 10,000 electrical operations the Series NRX provides the capabilities of a power circuit breaker in the compact size of a molded case breaker. The small size of the Series NRX and the one frame size, regardless of amp rating, allows for efficient layout of distribution equipment and reduces drawing conversion and structure integration time.
The Series NRX Breaker integrates seamlessly with the Series NRX Switchgear.
The Series NRX is built for low voltage power distribution applications. Series NRX meets UL 1066, UL 489, and IEC 60947-2 requirements and is certified for 65 kAIC interrupting with 42 kAIC withstand at the 380-508 Vac range. Its small size of 10 inches wide, 10.7 inches deep, and 14.2 inches high, enables smaller enclosures and higher density gear. The reduced weight makes is easier to handle during start-up and scheduled inspection. A three-pole, full-populated drawout breaker weighs only 53 pounds or 24 kilograms. A three-pole drawout breaker, fully-populated, with cassette weighs only 85 pounds or 39 kilograms. Multiple cable and bus connection options enable quick and flexible integration. When communications are needed, the Series NRX uses breaker mounted modules for Modbus, Profibus, and Eaton's INCOM.
The Series NRX features:
- UL 1066, UL 489, IEC ratings from 800-1600 amperes
- Up to 65 kA short circuit interruption and 42 kA short time withstand ratings
- Compact size allows for easy integration into new and existing structures
- One frame size reduces drawing conversion, structure integration time, and parts inventory
- Multiple cable and bus connections enable quick and flexible integration
- Breaker charging handle can charge springs in seven complete strokes using the right or left gloved hand
- A wider contact gap improves fault interruption and open circuit isolation capabilities to extend contact life
- Electronic trip innovation including Arcflash Reduction Maintenance System and breaker mounted communication modules
- Easy to install breaker accessories and shutters for breakers and cassette
