Eaton provides busway systems that can be utilized over a broad spectrum of industrial, commercial and institutional applications worldwide.

Low Voltage

  • Pow-R-Way® III
The Pow-R-Way III offers a true sandwich design to maximize busway performance. Benefits include improved coordination and heat dissipation, better bracing, and the elimination of the "chimney effect."

  • Pow-R-Way & Pow-R-Way II
Pow-R-Way, introduced by in 1971, employs the sandwich design in both feeder and plug-in. The Pow-R-Way II was rolled out in 1975 with rating of 225 and 400 amperes in feeder and plug-in.

  • 100 Amp busway
100 ampere busway is an alternative to cable in supplying small blocks of power for the normal commercial and industrial power systems. 100 ampere busway is practical for small shops, laboratories, classrooms, and light manufacturing.

Medium Voltage
Cutler-Hammer non-segregated phase bus is an assembly of bus conductors with associated connections, joints, and insulating supports confined within a metal enclosure without interphase barriers. The conductors are adequately separated and insulated from each other and ground by insulating bus supports. Each conductor for 2400V service and above is insulated with a fluidized bed epoxy coating throughout which reduces the possibility of corona and electrical tracking.

  • Non-segregated Phase Bus
Designed for use on circuits whose importance requires greater reliability than power cables provide. Typical of such applications are the connections from transformers to switchgear assemblies in unit substations, connections from switchgear assemblies to rotating apparatus, and tie connections between switchgear assemblies.
