MARINA TRANSFORMERS

Because of the high humidity and corrosive conditions of coastal environments, our transformers are wound with Class H heavily insulated copper bar and are double dipped in tough insulating varnish that protects the copper, as well as reduces the hum that is typical in a transformer that is not double dipped. For marine applications, we provide a third overcoat of high temperature epoxy to protect against the severe saltwater environment. We can also provide a custom transformer in single-phase or three-phase from 50 to 330 KVA.

Standard features include:

  • Copper wound transformer coils double dipped in high temperature baking varnish with epoxy overcoat for marina applications
  • All copper to copper connections
  • Fine stranded 2000V insulated copper

Available Options:

  • 50 to 330 KVA single-phase or three-phase
  • Epoxy overcoat for non-marine applications
  • Primary Voltages 480V 3ø Delta 3-Wire +G or 480V 1ø 2-Wire + G
  • Secondary Voltages 127/220V 3ø Y 4-Wire, 120/208V 3ø Y 4-Wire, or 120/240V 1ø 3-Wire
  • Single-phase in 50, 75, 100, 167.5, 200, 250 KVA
  • Three-phase in 45, 50, 75, 112.5, 150, 225, 300 KVA
