Modular Metering
Group Metering is a service entrance product line that consists of a main device and multiple meter sockets in one enclosure or several connected enclosures. Group metering allows the customer to install a multiple tenant-metering device in one location while providing a space and installation cost savings. Eaton offers two Group Metering designs: All-In-One Metering and Modular Metering. Modular Metering, also known as Gangable Metering, consists of a Main Service Module used in conjunction with a Meter Stack to make a custom metering line-up. The Main Service Module can be main lug, main circuit breaker, main fusible switch or bolted pressure switch. The Meter Stack is offered with various meter sockets and bus ratings. This type of custom line-up allows the owner to add/remove meter sockets and main devices to meet future need. Gangable Metering is often used in large condominiums, strip malls and light commercial applications where more than six units are metered or there will be a future need to add more units. |
