The FD100 / 110 microprocessor based Diesel Engine Fire Pump Controllers are designed to control and monitor 12 or 24 volt, listed diesel fire pump engines. These controllers are listed by UL and ULC, and approved by Factory Mutual, CSA and CE, as well as meeting or exceeding the requirements of NFPA 20 and NFPA 70.
All FD100 / FD110 controllers come with the features required for starting and stopping the diesel engine, monitoring the engine operating conditions, and alarming (audible and visible) for the engine, controller, and system conditions.
Size
In addition to an overall size reduction, the FD100 / 110 diesel engine controllers meet all NFPA20 – 2003 requirements, have increased functionality and upgraded internal components.
Battery Chargers
Each controller is equipped with dual 10Amp, current limiting, solid state battery chargers which maintain the proper charge on both sets of batteries at all times.
The chargers are reduced in size from previous models, and have an expanded voltage Input and Output range (120-240Vac I/P; 12-24Vdc Output), making all chargers useable for both 120 volt and 240 volt applications.
The enhanced voltage range makes interchanging of units easier as one model fits all applications.
The chargers meet all existing approvals required by UL, FM and NFPA 20.
Electronic Control Modules
The FD100 / 110 diesel engine fire pump controllers are compatible with NFPA20 - Section 12.4.1.3 for engines with ECM (Electronic Control Module) controls.
Separate visible indicators and audible alarms are provided for the conditions - ECM Selector Switch in Alternate and Fuel Injection Malfunction.
System Overpressure
All FD100 / 110 diesel engine controllers conform to NFPA20 – section 12.4.1.3 (8) - System overpressure for engines equipped with pressure limiting controls. Separate visible and audible indicators will activate once the pressure reaches 115 percent of total rated head (pressure).
