Freedom 2100

Eaton's offering of Motor Control Centers features the Advantage, IT, Freedom 2100 and now the FlashGard which is the safest Motor Control Center in the industry. The IT styles of MCC offers the industry’s newest communications technology in motor control, communicating on all major industry standard filed busses, along with Cutler-Hammer’s highest quality in manufacturing and service.

Available with communications to fit new and existing applications, the Cutler-Hammer Motor Control Centers are custom-made assemblies of conveniently grouped control equipment primarily used for control of motors and power distribution. Motor Control Centers are designed for 3-phase, 230 volt applications up to 200 horsepower or 3-phase, 600 volt applications up to 400 horsepower.

“Gateway” refers to an intermediate device that will convert from the protocol of the MCC to the target protocol.  In all case this Gateway is included in the MCC if the MCC doesn’t communicate on that target protocol natively.

1 bucket 1 node refers to each starter is an individual node on the target network. Many buckets 1 node refers to having many buckets linked together to one Network Gateway which is the target network node.

* These MCC choices are PowerNet capable with the PXG gateway communicating natively to each bucket.
** These MCC choices are PowerNet capable when used in conjunction with the E777 Modbus communication choice and the PXG gateway.

Operator Interface

Provides local display of motor parameters and system health.  This option is available when using Modbus communication.

Logic Control

In a single bucket a PLC is provided for local control of the MCC components.
