IQ 200 FAMILY

IQ 210/220/230 Electronic Panel Meters

  • Smaller size is ideal for panelboard and switchboard applications where panel space is at a premium and ANSI C12.16 accuracy is required
  • Energy management information provided by direct reading of up to 79 metered values
  • Can be used as a metering transducer for submetering applications

IQ 250/260 Electronic Power Meters

The new IQ 250 and IQ 260 meters provide capabilities you would not normally expect in affordable, ultra-compact meters, such as fast sampling rate and accurate metering for a full range of power attributes.

The meters are  "prepared for the future", offering flexible input/output options and field-upgradeability. The benefit here is that by inserting a card, the meter can be upgraded to include current and future feature upgrades, even ones not as yet conceived.

  • Comprehensive metering.  These meters provide real-time values for a full range of power attributes, such as watts, watt demand, watthours, voltage-amperes (VA), VA hours, vars, varhours, power factor and total harmonic distortion (THD) (IQ 260).
  • High-end accuracy.  Both meters sample at more than 400 samples per cycle and meet ANSI C12.20 standards for accuracy of 0.2 percent.  So these meters are suited for primary revenue metering, and sub-metering applications.
  • Self-test capability to validate accuracy.  A traceable KYZ watt-hour test pulse (used with a watthour pulse recorder or totalizer), verifies the accuracy of the meter to the utility and internal customers.
  • Industry-standard communication protocols.  These meters use the open Modbus protocol to communicate with Eaton or third-party platforms, such as building management system, power management system, or Eaton's Power Xpert® Gateway for Web-based monitoring.
  • Mix-and-match input/output options.  IQ 250 and IQ 260 meters have two auto-detecting slots that accept any mix of four optional I/O cards, analog and digital. These slots allow the user to upgrade the meter with currently developed upgrades or even metering features yet conceived.
  • Integration with Eaton’s Power Xpert Architecture.  The meters integrate into Eaton’s Power Xpert Architecture, where meters, gateways and monitoring devices collaborate to create a unified, Web-based view of the end-to-end power and facilities infrastructure.
  • Large, easy-to-read display.  Both meters have a large, bright red, always visual three-line LED display that is easier  to read than traditional, LCD back-lit displays, even from a distance.  Using the keypad and menus on the local display, an authorized user can display a variety of electrical system values or program the meter.
  • Local or remote configuration.  The meter can be programmed via menus and buttons on the display or remotely using Eaton Configuration software, provided with the meter.

The Eaton configuration software is also for download. Begin the process here.
