Cutler-Hammer safety switches have a wide array of field mountable accessory and renewal parts kits. All of the accessories can be factory installed at our unique Safety Switch Flex Center. Our complete selection of accessories includes the following easy to install kits:
- Neutral/Ground Kits
- Ground Lug Kits
- Control Pole Kits: A control pole is a late-make, early-break auxiliary switch that is directly connected to the switch shaft. It is used to interrupt the control circuit before opening the switch. This is desirable to protect adjustable frequency drives from being damaged by opening the power circuit.
- Electrical Interlocks
- Copper Lug Kits: Standard switch lugs are manufactured of aluminum and are rated for either copper or aluminum wire. This kit is to change the lugs to an all-copper design.
- Crimp Lug Pad Kits (NEMA 4, 4X, and 12 Enclosures)
- Fuse Puller Kits: Fuse pullers can be installed through 200 amperes
- "J" Fuse Adapter Kits: Fuse clips that reject all fuses other than Class J.
- "R" Fuse Adapter Kits: Fuse clips that reject all fuses other than Class R.
- "T" Fuse Adapter Kits : Fuse clips that reject all fuses other than Class T.
- Hookstick Handle Kits
- Lubricating Grease Kits: Includes three 30cc tubes of lubricating grease for blades and contacts.
- Nameplates: Nameplates are available in plastic or phenolic. Nameplate information will also appear on exterior carton label for ease of identification.
