SWITCHING DEVICES AND DISCONNECTS

Heavy Duty Safety Switches
Heavy duty safety switches are used in heavy commercial and industrial applications where reliable performance and service continuity are critical. Rated 30 through 1200 amperes with a visible double break rotary blade mechanism. Includes fusible, non-fusible, 6-pole Motor Switches, Enviroline (harsh environment) and Mill Duty switches.

General Duty Safety Switches
General duty safety switches are used in residential and commercial applications. Suitable for light duty motor circuits and service entrance applications. Includes fusible and non-fusible switches.

Double Throw Safety Switches
The double throw safety switch is used in general duty and heavy duty applications. Both the general duty double throw and the heavy duty double throw safety switches are suitable for service entrance use with a neutral kit installed, fused or un-fused.

Auxiliary Power Heavy-Duty Safety Switches
Industry-leading value creation is the driving force behind Eaton’s new Cutler-Hammer® Auxiliary Power Heavy-Duty Safety Switch. This new switch gives the contractor an alternative to running a separate 120 volt circuit to the rooftop or other locations where a receptacle outlet is required.

Elevator Control Switch
Designing, building and inspecting shunt trip disconnect capabilities into elevator power systems can be complex enough. Factor in the need for compliance with the NEC®, ANSI/ASME A17.1 and NFPA 72 and it can be downright confusing. Now there's a simple and economical solution that comes in one easy-to-install package. The Elevator Control Switch from Eaton Corporation.

Accessories/Renewal Parts Safety Switches
Cutler-Hammer safety switches have a wide array of field mountable accessory and renewal parts kits. All of the accessories can be factory installed at our unique Safety Switch Flex Center.

Custom Switch Solutions / Flex Center
Eaton's Cleveland, TN, Switching Device Flex Center is a solutions center that designs and modifies safety switches, enclosed circuit breakers and rotary disconnects for unique customer needs that are not met by standard products. Eaton's Cutler-Hammer Disconnects are used when a means of control, circuit protection and safety are needed. Switches and disconnects may be horsepower rated, and suitable for use in many applications.

Rotary Switches
Open or Enclosed Rotary Switches provide users with horse-power rated switches in enclosures for most motor applications. The handle mechanism offers the ability to lock directly wired motor loads in the OFF position to comply with OSHA regulations. Also for machine applications that require compact disconnect switches.

Disconnect Switches
Flange or Panel Mounted Disconnect Switches are load break devices suitable for motor and control panel disconnect applications. These switches are available in un-fused and fused configurations (up to 200,000 rms symetrical with Class R fusing.) The mounting and operation flexibility means that nearly any enclosure can be designed or retroffited with one these UL, CSA, cUL IEC and CE approved switches (see specific switch for ratings and approvals.)

Panelboard Switches
Fusible type panelboard switches are designed for commercial, industrial and service entrance applications to protect and switch feeder and branch circuits. Available for existing FDP and other distribution panelboards.

Circuit Breakers - Enclosed
Molded Case Circuit Breakers packaged in an enclosure for applications where the benefits of a case circuit breaker or switch, for control and protection, are required.

Switchboard Switches
Fusible type switchboard switches and Pringle™ bolted contact switches are designed for commercial, industrial, and service entrance applications to protect and switch feeder and branch circuits.

Pringle® Bolted Contact Switches
Eaton’s Pringle bolted contact switches, a worldwide standard in high-current switching applications, are made to meet the most exacting specifications for dependability and safety in use. They are custom built for heavy duty applications.
