Craig Arnold is chief executive officer – Fluid Power Group, Eaton Corporation. He is responsible for Eaton’s hydraulics, aerospace, filtration and general products businesses.
He also serves as a member of the corporation’s Office of the Chief Operating Officer, and in that capacity has responsibility for the Asia-Pacific region.
Arnold joined Eaton in 2000 from General Electric Company in London, England, where he had served as corporate vice president and president, GE Lighting Services Ltd., since 1999.
At GE, he was responsible for the company’s lighting business in Europe, the Middle East and India.
Arnold also had responsibility for GE's e-commerce
business in Europe across all of the company's businesses, and served as GE's senior management "account executive" for all GE businesses in the United Kingdom.
Arnold served as corporate vice president and president of GE Plastics, Greater China, from 1998 to 1999 and held the same position for GE Appliances, Asia, from 1997 to 1998. He was managing director, Structured Products Europe, for GE Plastics from 1995 to 1997.
Arnold started his professional career with General Electric in 1983, holding a series of positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and product management.
He currently serves on the boards of directors of Covidien Ltd. as well as University Hospitals Health System, Cleveland. Additionally, he is a member of the advisory board of the Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland.
Arnold received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University.
