Eaton’s range of low voltage systems not only provides you with optimum power distribution; they meet your most demanding requirements on safety and flexibility. They have been developed for the whole industry value chain: upstream, midstream and downstream. When it comes to safety, Eaton low voltage systems offer the highest level of protection. The use of epoxy resin insulation for the busbar systems makes the equipment completely arc-free by creation of a fault-free zone.
The Capitole 40 system has completely separated compartments to assure safety. The motor control centres can have fully withdrawable units, which enables flexible system modification. So, when needed, modifications can be carried out safely under live conditions. The patented scissor contacts provide physical separation between motor starter tray and busbar system and in case of short circuit prevent welding to the busbar.
Capitole 20 is a highly standardised system supported by quick configuration/quoting facilities and fast deliveries. Functional incoming and outgoing units have an optimum internal separation : Form 4 in accordance with IEC 60439-1, EN 60439-1 and BS EN 60439-1 and outgoing units are connected to the vertical busbar using plug-in contacts.
