Eaton Earns 15th Consecutive Superior Quality Award From Toyota
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced its U.S. Engine Valve Co. Ltd. has received the Superior Quality Award for the 15th consecutive year from Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. (TEMA). This is the highest honor given by Toyota to suppliers for quality.
U.S. Engine Valve Co. Ltd., located in Westminster, S.C., is a joint venture facility with Nittan Valve Co. Ltd. with which Eaton has had a long standing relationship. The facility produced more than 12 million intake and exhaust valves for Toyota in 2007 while maintaining extremely high level s of quality.

The awards were given at Toyota’s Annual Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony held in Covington, Ky., which brings together the automaker’s approximately 500 North American suppliers to share expectations for the coming business year and to recognize outstanding supplier performance.
