Curve shaping, zone selective interlocking, arc flash reduction, diagnostics, and system monitoring and communications are all features available by selecting the appropriate trip unit for the specific requirement. - Adjustable long-time pick-up via dial or rating plug provides versatility when establishing the continuous current rating of a breaker.
- All units incorporate a long delay and thermal memory, which prevents the system from cumulative overheating due to repeated overcurrent events that may occur in quick succession.
- Effective coordination with both sophisticated upstream power breakers as well as downstream thermal magnetic breakers offers cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Selective coordination isolates the faulted circuit from the rest of the system, eliminating unnecessary power outages.
