Double throw safety switches have two interlocked switches with a common connection. The interlock ensures that both switches cannot be closed at the same time, preventing them from being operated in parallel. They are available in general duty and heavy duty as well as quick-connect.

	General Duty Double Throw The general duty double throw safety switch is suitable for service entrance use with a neutral kit installed and for use as a manually operated switch. Available as non-fusible, this safety switch has ampere ratings from 30 to 400 and up to 240 Vac.
	Heavy Duty Double Throw Heavy duty double throw safety switches are used to transfer service from a normal power source to an alternate source or switch from one load circuit to another. The heavy duty double throw switch is available as a fusible or non-fusible, 600 Vac, 250 Vdc maximum switch.
