General duty safety switches are used in residential and commercial applications. They are suitable for light duty motor circuits and service entrance applications. Fusible (plug or cartidge) and non-fusible switches are available.

	Fusible - Cartridge Fuse Eaton's General Duty Cartridge Fuse Safety Switches have visible double-break rotary blade mechanisms, a side opening door on all enclosures, and, with Class R fuses, may be used on systems capable of delivering 100,000 amperes rms symmetrical.
	Fusible - Plug Fuse Eaton's Plug Fuse Safety Switches offer the ability to manually open and close a circuit and provide overcurrent protection by means of installed plug fuses. With a 30 ampere rating, plug fuses are available as single or double pole.
	Non-Fusible Eaton's General Duty Non-fusible Safety Switches provide a means to manually connect or disconnect the load from the source. They are available in NEMA 1 general purpose or NEMA 3R rainproof enclosures and are suitable for service entrance applications.
