Eaton's residential meter breakers are service entrance equipment systems that consist of a single meter socket and loadcenter or a meter socket and main breaker combined in one enclosure, thus providing the contractor with a labor and material savings when installing. Meter breakers are most often sold in the western, southwestern and southeastern United States. Most popular in areas where utilities are deregulated and the electrical contractor has to supply watthour meter sockets.
