Overload Relays
Eaton offers a wide range of overload relays to provide full motor protection. The overload relay types include fixed bi-metallic, interchangeable heater bimetallic, and electronic. Flexible mounting ensures that they can be installed on a contactor, panel, or separate enclosure.
Bimetal relays - Z overload relays up to 630 A
- Protection with phase loss and overload
- Auxiliary contacts switch off the motor protection and signal the fault

EMT6 thermistor overload relays 
- Protects machines against overtemperatures during severe starting duty, braking duty, undervotage and overvoltage, and high operating frequency
- Temperature monitored directly on the motor winding
- Signal is passed to the EMT 6 in the event of an overtemperature
- Additional areas of application: Monitoring of temperatures in bearing, gearboxes, oils and coolants
