The FT90 LMR Soft Start Transfer Switch Controller incorporates a solid-state starter which provides a step-less, smooth current ramp to the motor. This characteristic eliminates current surges and mechanical torque transients. A soft stop feature allows for smooth deceleration of the motor thus eliminating water hammer throughout the cycle. All Eaton FT Series controllers are supplied as Dual Utility controllers and meet FM 1321 / 1323 approvals.
