How it works:
After one or more Eaton UPS devices is activated and an account is created at Eaton's portal (MyEaton), subscribed devices will start communicating with Eaton:
- Every 15 minutes (or daily), your devices will send parametric data to our monitoring center
- Alarms are sent instantly to Eaton
- Aggregated status information will appear on your PredictPulse dashboard
- Eaton monitoring experts will review the data and determine if anything is out of the ordinary
- If something’s not quite right, we’ll notify you of the alarm and how we recommend addressing it
- Critical alarms are evaluated 7x24 and Eaton will notify you and dispatch a service technician as needed
Device data is sent using one-way outbound email (SMTP) to maximize security; Eaton cannot interrogate or control any devices.
