Eaton's HC7 family high-current power inductors are designed for higher speed switch mode applications requiring lower inductance, low voltage and high current. Their design uses high-temperature iron powder alloy material with a non-organic binder to eliminate thermal ageing. The HC7 family has an inductance range from 0.22 uH to 4.81 uH, current range from 9.2 A to 86.5 A and frequency range from 1 kHz to 500 kHz. HC7 power inductors can be used in several applications including multi-phase regulators, Voltage regulator modules (VRMs), distributed power systems DC-DC converters, desktop and server VRMs and EVRDs, point-of-load (POL) modules, field programmable gate array (FPGA) DC-DC converters, battery power systems, high-current power supplies, data networking and storage systems.
