bFAZ4 xEffect Miniature Circuit Breaker

The bFAZ4 miniature circuit breaker is a protective device equipped with both a thermal and an electromagnetic release that is available in 1-, 2-, 3- and 4- pole versions. The bFAZ4 is suitable for DC applications (60 V per pole) with rated currents from 6 to 60 A. It has a switching capacity of 4,5 kA according to ABNT NBR IEC/EN 60947-2 and 3 kA according to ABNT NBR IEC/EN 60898/04.

Core features

  • Premium miniature circuit breaker for industrial applications and high-end building installations
  • Contact position indicator red - green
  • Rated currents up to 60 A
  • Tripping characteristics B and C
  • Rated switching capacity of 4,5 kA according to ABNT NBR IEC/EN 60947-2 and 3 kA according to ABNT NBR IEC/EN 60898/04
  • Compatible with standard busbars
  • Comprehensive range of accessories, which can also be retrofitted

Reliable cable protection

MCBs protect cables against damage due to overload and short circuits: In the event of dangerously high currents, the circuit breaker’s bimetallic thermal release will disconnect the power supply. In the event of a short circuit, the electromagnetic release will disconnect the power supply in a timely manner.

A design that is standard-compliant and quality-tested

The right MCB for every application

Circuit breakers with tripping characteristics B and C are the most common types. Circuit breakers with tripping characteristic B are the standard MCB type used for lighting and socket circuits. For circuits with high inrush and peak currents (motors, luminaire banks,...) devices with tripping characteristic C are used.
