LV air replacement circuit breakers

Eaton’s air replacement circuit breaker replacements are designed to be electrical and mechanical equivalents of the power circuit breakers they replace, solving parts availability problems and reducing maintenance costs and downtime.

LV breaker to vacuum starter replacements

Electric utility generation and process industries often apply circuit breakers as motor starters, even though they are not intended for these applications. A better approach is Eaton’s LV breaker-to-vacuum motor starter replacement, which uses state-of-the-art vacuum contactors that have a long life and are resistant to environmental contaminants.

Specifically designed to replace breakers used as motor starters, the LV-VSR’s advantages include:

  • Tested to IEEE/ANSI standards
  • Passive and active interlocking
  • May be applied up to 600 VAC and 425 A continuous
  • Motor protection provided through Eaton's self-powered C440 electronic overload relay, which provides selectable thermal overload protection, phase loss and ground fault
  • Designs available to replace select models of Westinghouse, GE and ITE circuit breakers

Remote power racking system (RPR-2)

Eaton’s RPR-2 enables remote racking of circuit breakers from leading manufacturers that can be inserted or removed using the rotation of a shaft. Operators may remain 25 feet or more away from the switchgear door during the racking process, which is outside the arc flash protection boundary.
