Solution: The issue can be easily solved by restarting the IPP daemon once the "Shutdown Controller" module has been activated. There is no need to restart the IPP daemon when disabling this feature. 1.20-2 - When connected through Serial RS232, sometimes Pulsar UPSs don’tshutoff as expected. In this case the UPS does not take into account"Shutdown Duration" parameter of Intelligent Power Protector. Solution: Use USB connection. Refer to the compatibily list. b) Known issues: 1.10-1 - on 9130 the USB communication sometimes stops in endurance testing. => a problem fix is available with 9130 V0.13 USB firmware or prefer RS232or Network connections 1.10-2 - on 5125 (FW 2.04 & 3.04) , Load segment 2 stops with Load segment 1 1.10-3 - On 5125 3000GRM with 3 load segments, it is not possible to configurethe load segment 3 in the shutdown. dialog box. It is possible to configure Load segment 1 or 2 1.10-4 - On VM-Ware ESX4: Through Network connection, the Eaton UPSs are compatible with IPP on ESX4. Through USB connection, Pulsar UPSs and Powerware 9130 are compatible. Through USB connection, Powerware 5110, 3105 and 9120 are not detected. 1.10-5 - On Vista x64 only, the 5115 UPS is not compatible in USB mode. (You can use Lansafe with Vista x64) All the other Windows are compatible with IPP and 5115 USB UPS. c) Note: Intelligent Power Manager 1.12 that is able to supervise and manage IPP 1.10 is available free of charge on the web download or through Automatic Update Process.
