MPIA inductor

Eaton’s MPIA product line is the latest advancement in low-profile power magnetics designed to meet automotive electronics highest power density and thermal handling requirements. The MPIA uses an advanced moulded construction design for high current handling capabilities, better thermal dissipation characteristics and superior mechanical strength. The MPIA product family is a compact, low-profile, surface-mounted package and is magnetically shielded for low EMI, has low core loss and good temperature stability over the operating temperature range. The MPIA is AEC-Q200 automotive grade compliant products allowing automotive engineers to use them in many applications throughout the vehicle.

MPIA20-V1 family consists of a 2.2 mm x 1.8 mm footprint surface mount package in 1.0 mm height. Current range is from 2.0 A to 5.5 A. Inductance range is from 0.33 uH to 2.2 uH.

MPIA25-V2 family consists of a 2.7 mm x 2.2 mm footprint surface-mounted package in 1.05 mm and 1.25 mm heights. Current range is from 1.2 A to 7.5 A. inductance range is from 0.33 uH to 4.7 uH. 

The MPIA40-V2 family consists of a 4.75 mm x 4.45 mm footprint surface-mounted package in 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm heights. Current range is from 1.2 A to 22 A.  Inductance range is from 0.1 uH to 22 uH.
