GuideLed Cinema - Central battery exit sign panel

GuideLED Cinema is a central battery LED emergency exit sign luminaire with dimming function by potential-free switching contact specially designed for use in rooms which are darkened during operation such as cinemas or auditoriums.

Dimming can be adjusted easily to suit the size of space and light dynamics with ten dimming values via a rotary switch and is activated via a switching impulse at the switching contact. In addition, the high-efficiency LEDs have a service life of up to 50,000 hours ensuring high operational safety and minimal effort for maintenance. While an especially low connected load enables energy savings of up to 60% compared to fluorescent lamps.

GuideLed also catches the eye with regard to design with a concise functionality without visible screw connections, and a very flat construction that blends unobtrusively into the surrounding architecture.

  • Escape sign luminaire with LED Lightguide technology for wall-mounting
  • Additional feature: Dimming input
  • Specially designed for operationally darkened rooms, e.g. cinemas, dimming is possible during film screening
  • Dimming can be activated via potential-free switching input
  • One of 10 possible dimming values adjustable via rotary switch
  • Luminance of the white contrasting colour > 500 cd/m² in line with DIN 4844-1 and high uniformity Lmin/Lmax > 0.8 (dimmer switch position of 100%)
  • Reduced battery costs on account of especially low power consumption
  • Minimum service requirement due to high service life of the LEDs (50 000 hours)

Focus on the big screen without sacrificing on safety

To avoid a glare due to bright exit sign during a movie, lecture, theatre performance, planetarium or project room the GuideLed Cinema has the option to dim the output to ten customisable levels.

The dimming effect is achieved through a switch input, which dims the exit sign to a fix light output, if the input is closed via a potential-free relay contact, e.g. DMX actor.

In case of an emergency operation, e.g. mains failure of the general lighting, the exit signs regulate immediately to 100% light output so that the hall, theatre, cinema or room can be evacuated safely.
