  • An all-in-one single rack energy storage system that fits into limited space in both commercial and industrial buildings
  • A modular and scalable system that enables a wide range of applications such as PV self-consumption, peak shaving, load shifting, back-up power, electric vehicle charging station integration and grid support
  • An easy-to-install system with symmetric charge and discharge which ensures continuity of service and resiliency
  • An easy-to-use system with a control platform that includes a user-friendly interface and simple expansion options

MORGES, SWITZERLAND… Power management leader Eaton makes it easy for building owners and facility managers to solve power management challenges for their small and medium commercial and industrial sites with the Eaton xStorage Compact.

Commercial and industrial building owners and facility managers are keen to ensure business continuity, maximize the consumption of the renewable energy they may produce locally or get the power capacity they need to integrate electric vehicle chargers on-site. Achieving this requires a multi-usage energy storage solution that minimizes the use of internal building space.

xStorage Compact leverages the award-winning Eaton energy storage technology to provide customers with a single rack energy storage solution that is easy to install and use in buildings.

xStorage Compact is a multi-usage energy storage system that enables customers to maximize solar self-consumption and avoid capacity issues related to the integration of electric vehicle charging stations on-site

Customers can also use xStorage Compact for additional needs and use cases such as back-up power, peak shaving and load shifting. The system can be used to contribute to grid stability by participating to frequency regulation.

Craig McDonnell, senior vice president and general manager, Power Quality and Electronics and Emerging Markets Division, EMEA at Eaton said: “We already offer a wide range of scalable and modular energy storage systems. The launch of xStorage Compact enables us to further meet the needs of our customers who own or operate buildings and want to leverage our award-winning energy storage technology quickly and easily.”
