DUBLIN – Intelligent power management company Eaton is introducing new models to its EV charging portfolio to expand the choice available for integration with Eaton infrastructure solutions, and capable of being managed by the ChargePoint software Platform.

Eaton and ChargePoint’s turnkey solutions are designed to simplify every stage of an EV charging project—from purchase through design then deployment. Offerings include comprehensive electrical infrastructure and engineering services alongside EV chargers and the software to optimize their management. This approach helps bring down costs and supports customers in managing site power requirements, making it easier to optimize infrastructure and enhance reliability.

Chargers constitute a fundamental part of Eaton’s Buildings as a Grid approach for transforming buildings into energy hubs that use on-site renewable generation to deliver operational cost savings, reduced carbon footprint and revenue generation when fees are levied for charging.

The DC 30 provides the fast top-ups needed for roadside, fleet and destination charging at supermarkets and similar locations. Compliant with the EU’s Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), this charger offers the registration-free payment methods that are required for public deployment, together with bi-directional charging capability to ensure longevity as vehicle-to-grid (V2G) infrastructure becomes more widely available. The Duo can be wall, floor or ceiling mounted for use where two vehicles charge together in compact spaces such as driveways or garages.

The DC 30 and Duo are capable of dynamic load balancing to avoid hitting capacity limits and ISO15118 compliant, with Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) integrity assured by Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). Intuitive digital interfaces make the chargers easy to use, maintain and service via remote software upgrades, with connection to Eaton’s remote monitoring platform for fast issue resolution to maximize uptime.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the chargers are quick and easy to install because standardized procedure across the range result in reduced commissioning time and modular design minimizes the addition of external components. On average, installations are 25% quicker than the market standard for similar chargers. A range of warranties reinforce dependability to give customers extra peace of mind, with Eaton’s local service support and service partners providing fast problem resolution and spare part sourcing, as needed.

Eaton will be featured at the Reuters Energy Transition Europe 2025 conference in London October 20-21, 2025, where Jean Miyeli, general manager, Energy Transition, Eaton, will deliver a keynote entitled “Navigating the Energy Transition: Balancing Short-Term Crises with Long-Term Vision.” The session will highlight Eaton’s strategic EV charging partnership with ChargePoint, alongside a series of successful projects across Europe. These achievements highlight Eaton’s commitment to integrating renewables, grid modernization, and flexible energy management and reinforce the company’s role in shaping a more sustainable energy ecosystem for businesses and communities across the region.
