We make what matters work

NETTERSHEIM, Germany … The Filtration Division of power management company, Eaton will showcase its filtration solutions for coatings and finishes applications that help improve performance and sustainability at the European Coatings trade show, March 25-28 in Nuremberg, Germany (Hall 4A, Booth 116).

The exhibition program will feature a diverse and effective range of filtration options designed to remove solids and oil from paints, coatings, varnishes, adhesives, sealants, additives and printing inks. These solutions help improve production line efficiency, reduce maintenance downtime, and minimize waste.

The focus will be on the SENTINEL® MAXPO and DURAGAF™ MAXPOXL filter bag ranges, Eaton's new polypropylene needle felt filter bags that combine particle retention and oil absorption in a single process step. Their fully welded design and increased filter material thickness maximize particle removal. Their melt-blown inner core, open on one side, serves as an internal pre-filter and boosts filtration performance with powerful oil absorption. For optimal quality, performance, and safety, these filter bags are compatible with Eaton's TOPLINE™, SIDELINE™, FLOWLINE™, and ECOLINE™ single-bag filter housings as well as MAXILINE™ multi-bag filter housings.

Another highlight will be Eaton’s cartridge filtration solutions, which include a wide range of filter cartridges and stainless steel single- and multi-cartridge filter housings. The ECOCART™ series is designed for applications such as water treatment, parts cleaning, paints and coatings, and the automotive sector, while the TOPCART™ series is ideal for particularly demanding processes such as the filtration of chemicals, solvents, and other critical media.

The exhibition program will be rounded off with Eaton’s 53X duplex strainer range. Available in five standard sizes and made of stainless steel, these strainers meet all the requirements of the EU Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). By seamlessly switching between the filter chambers, the strainer baskets can be emptied without downtime. This helps ensure continuous operation and uninterrupted performance.

With durable yet flexible welded seams, a fully welded needle felt outer layer, and a patented pressure-activated SENTINEL sealing ring, the SENTINEL MAXPO and DURAGAF MAXPOXL filter bags conform to the bag filter housing. This design helps ensure maximum bypass security for the filtration of chemicals, paints, coatings, and many more.

Eaton’s 53X strainers protect system components from damage and prevent contamination of conveyed media. Their duplex design allows the strainer baskets to be checked and drained during operation. The dynamic sealing system ensures a long service life and a virtually bypass-free draining process.

A flexible solution for commercial applications, the ECOCART series single- and multi-cartridge filter housings are available in various heights to accommodate a wide range of industrial filtration tasks. Designed for versatility, the housings are compatible with both double open-end and single open-end filter cartridges with a fin.
