Linergy LED versus Metal Halide - 20,000m2

For large warehouses, the Linergy LED is compared with a HID Metal Halide solution. The LED solution provides a reduced annual energy cost has decreased by over 50 per cent in contrast to the HID Metal Halide solution. The cold storage example includes the Litex Elite 22500Lm luminaire exceeding all expectations in comparison to the HID metal halide solution. The dynamic Litex Elite requires a lower wattage and energy consumption to illuminate the space required. The Litex Elite LED luminaire provides an average life span of 80,000 hours, against the HID metal halide solution which requires further maintenance of replacement bulbs to retain the short lifetime of just over one year. LED is the optimum choice for cold environments as they provide improved lumen performance and extended life at sub-zero temperatures.
