xComfort IKA

xComfort IKA is a surface mounted enclosure series for residential, commercial and industrial applications. It offers 12 different size options and durable plastic materials like ABS and UV-resistant polycarbonate. High degree of protection (IP65) and the foam all-round sealing ensures safe operation even in harsh environments. Paired with Eaton’s modular devices and xWired configurator, it’s ideal for IEC/EN 61439-compliant energy distribution.

It offers optimzed cable entries, N/PE screw type terminals, adjustable DIN Rail, ample space for wiring, and space for 48 and 72 module units.

Pre-wired final distribution boards – the choice is yours!

Select the right devices for your residential and light commercial project from a variety of standardized components and empty enclosures. Eaton provides you with all the technical information you need to create the design verification according to IEC/EN 61439-3 yourself. Alternatively, you can also choose a pre-wired final distribution board. In this case, Eaton will provide you with a documentation package including a detailed design verification. Focus on the essentials and let us take care of the rest.

Standards are our strength

Eaton's IKA empty enclosure meets the requirements of the IEC/EN 60670-24 and IEC/EN 62208 standards and is therefore approved for use in low-voltage assemblies according to IEC/EN 61439-3.

A safe and flexible solution

Thanks to the high degree of protection (IP65), the foamed all-round sealing and the rugged, halogen-free design of the door and body, the IKA industrial distribution board made from polycarbonate guarantees safe operation even in harsh industrial environments. Available in nine sizes (of 4, 6 and 8; 12, 24 and 36; and 18, 36 and 54 module units), the series offers the ideal distribution board solution for any application or situation.

Compact and versatile distribution boards

The height-adjustable, stable DIN rails and pre-marked holes for cable entries with centering point are just some of the many useful features. In addition, the enclosure cover and door come with a lead-sealing option as standard, without the need for any additional parts. Other highlights include the large wiring area of 46 mm under the DIN rail, the integrated width compensation in the cover and the possibility to install additional functional units in the bottom panel of the enclosure.
