Omar Zaire

Omar Zaire is president of Eaton’s Corporate and Electrical Sector, responsible for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and a member of Eaton’s senior leadership team.

Omar has 27 years of experience in the electrical industry, with 17 of those years at Eaton. Prior to this role, he was the senior vice president and general manager, Power Reliability Division, Electrical Sector, Americas, providing strategic and executive operational leadership to the Power Reliability Division team, serving as a member of the senior leadership team.

Since joining Eaton in 2008, Omar has held numerous leadership roles of increasing responsibility across the world, including the role of general manager of Eaton’s Jundiai, Sao Paulo, site and as the vice president and general manager of the Latin America region of Electrical Sector Americas. Prior to Eaton, Omar held sales and leadership roles at Rockwell Automation, Weidmann Electrical and ABB.

Omar holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia in São Paulo, Brazil, and an executive MBA from the University of Richmond, Virginia. He is based in Morges, Switzerland.
