Eaton launches PRIDE EMEA to empower LGBTQ+ employees and their allies with a safe, supportive and confidential space

MORGES, SWITZERLAND – Eaton, a global leader in power management, is today launching PRIDE: a new LGBTQ+ inclusion resource group for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Inclusion Eaton Resource Groups (iERGs) are initiatives led by employees, for employees, on issues that matter. These groups create and promote a more welcoming work environment, bringing together those who share a common purpose, interest or background. Additionally, any Eaton employee may participate in iERGs as allies, so they can make new connections and discover different perspectives.

The new iERG PRIDE chapter provides a safe, supportive and confidential space for Eaton’s LGBTQ+ employees and their allies in EMEA. They can share experiences, work together on common goals and contribute unique ideas to help the business evolve towards even greater inclusion and diversity. PRIDE will foster LGBTQ+ awareness, education and engagement across EMEA.

PRIDE complements Eaton’s two other iERGs in the EMEA region: WAVE (Women Adding Value at Eaton),providing support, education, networking and business opportunities for women,  and ENGAGE (Eaton Next-Generation Achieving Goals & Excelling), which focuses on attracting, developing and retaining talent from the next-generation to enable future growth and innovation.
