PEACHTREE CITY, GA … Power management company Eaton today announced it is equipping builders, contractors, distributors and other industry professionals with training and new, easy-to-install solutions during the International Builders’ Show, the largest annual light construction show in the world. Eaton is hosting certified training sessions in its IBS booth to help contractors and builders sell and efficiently install the company’s HALO Home Smart Lighting System, in addition to highlighting its suite of reliable and easy-to-install product offerings that are designed to help streamline installations and minimize time-consuming callbacks.

While productivity is key for professionals, home buyers and owners are increasingly seeking smart solutions that allow them to personalize their spaces while improving efficiency and security. The device market continues to grow – an estimated 33 percent of households currently have smart home products, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 54 percent by 2023. Builders and contractors recognize the opportunity to own a piece of the market by integrating smart home technology.

During Eaton’s five HALO Home Smart Lighting System certified installer trainings in the company’s booth at IBS, attendees will learn a new way to boost profitability, improve personalization, efficiency and security for customers, all while adding a “wow” factor to their projects. During the show, Eaton will again welcome celebrity contractor Mike Holmes, Sr., along with Mike Holmes, Jr. and Sherry Holmes, to participate in the “Battle of the Holmes,” a gameshow featuring questions about the latest trends in the smart home device market. Mike Holmes, Jr. and Sherry will team up with Eaton customers and face off to win prize packs from the Eaton and Holmes teams. The game will take place in the Eaton booth on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2:15-3 p.m. PST, and will be broadcast live on Eaton’s Electrical Sector Facebook page and Twitter account.
