Eaton Magnum Low Voltage Power Circuit Breaker – Quality Campaign

Impacted products

Select Eaton Magnum circuit breakers using mechanical interlocks, key interlocks or internal accessories on the far-right accessory position are impacted.

This includes Magnum, Magnum DS, Magnum SB and IZM (but not including IZMX) circuit breakers manufactured between July 1st, 2017 and March 8th, 2018, as a component or part of an electrical assembly.

If the Magnum circuit breaker configuration in your possession does not use mechanical interlocks, key interlocks, or internal accessories on the far-right accessory position, no immediate action is required.

The primary circuit breaker functions of integral over-current and short-circuit protection, as well as the manual Push OFF button are not affected. The “first” (far left) and “second” (center) accessory positions, and the integral levering interlocks are not affected.

How to identify if your breaker is affected

To verify that your breaker is affected, please refer to the Important Product Safety Bulletin that you have received.

Appendix 1: Helps you to determine if your breaker is in the affected date range.

Appendix 2: Helps you identify potentially affected breakers.

Appendix 3: Helps you determine the factory-installed accessories by catalog number.
