Voltage regulator traditional school

The single-phase step voltage regulator (SVR) is a common part of the modern power distribution system. An in-depth understanding of the application, safe use and maintenance of SVRs is important for individuals working with this equipment.

Eaton's Cooper Power series CL-7 voltage regulator control leads the industry by providing cutting-edge features to meet the needs of today’s distributed generation networks and SCADA communications installations. This school provides in-depth training covering CL-7 control features and integration of the control into modern power distribution systems. The training also will cover new CL-7 control features and ways in which the control is putting the emphasis on safety. 

The CL-7 control advanced school is an in-depth training course covering basic and advance topics for users wanting to get the most from the control. Topics include:

Air travel

  • Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport
  • For return flights on the last day of the class, a departure time no earlier than 7 pm is recommended
  • Attendees are responsible for travel expenses

Airport shuttle service

  • Shuttle transportation may be provided from the airport to the hotel and from the training (or hotel) back to the airport, if available
  • If a shuttle service is not available, attendees may be responsible for these arrangements and expense

  • A booking will be made for attendees from a block of rooms reserved for the training
  • A complimentary breakfast is included in the room rate
  • Attendees are responsible for payment upon check-out

Shuttle services daily to and from training

  • Shuttle service to and from the hotel, training and dinners each day will be provided by Eaton

Meals

  • Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided each day of the training
  • A group dinner will be sponsored by Eaton on Tuesday and Wednesday nights
