Pow-R-Line Xpert EV charging switchboards

Eaton offers electric vehicle (EV) charging capabilities within a Pow-R-Line Xpert integrated facility systems (IFS) switchboard. The EV charging IFS switchboard supports up to 18 Green Motion EV smart breaker chargers per incorporated panelboard, providing fast AC Level 2 charging at 7.7 kW. This all-in-one EV charging solution offers significant space savings and reduced installation costs for fleet or mid/large-scale EV charging applications. 

Eaton's IFS switchboards integrate electrical distribution components and control equipment that are traditionally separate into a single, space-saving, factory-assembled and connected system.

Improved security
As the EV chargers are installed within the IFS switchboard, they can be more easily secured in a remote location.
Reduced installation cost
A pre-wired, compact customised unit helps reduce installation time and is a cost-effective alternative to traditional stand-alone EV charging pedestals.
Reduced infrastructure
If connecting the EV chargers to a network, Wi-Fi only needs to be available in the vicinity of the IFS switchboard unit. Wi-Fi access is not needed across the entire parking lot/structure.

  • Set monitoring and charging schedules through the EV Charger Manager app and open for application programming interfaces (APIs)
  • Available in NEMA Type 1 or 3R enclosures
  • Controlled rate of charge and 0.2% accurate revenue-grade metering
