The protection you expect, the service you deserve

Eaton engineers the structure and all the components of our medium-voltage switchgear to give protection, isolation and control you can count on. Eaton circuit breakers improve power reliability, use clean vacuum technology and feature a compact size and user-friendly operation.

Robust, centralised control and protection for power equipment

Custom-engineered switchgear designed to exceed IEEE® switchgear design and manufacturing standards to meet the specific needs of your application and environment, including:

  • 11-gauge welded cubicle construction ensures the enclosure remains “square” and breakers rack in correctly over the life of the switchgear
  • Bolted cubicle assembly forms a solid line-up with two 11-gauge steel inserts between each vertical section to prevent propagation faults from one cubicle to the next
  • Doors made with double returns and welded edges to prevent warping and ensure that latches operate appropriately

Enhance worker safety

Remotely employ motorised racking to safely move breakers and auxiliary drawers from outside the arc-flash boundary.  Find out more about MR2
